The Waterfowl Sanctuary

If you are looking for a Superhero, then look no further than Godmanchester near Huntingdon. Here you will find one of the charities M&M Demolition Support called’ The Waterfowl Sanctuary’, run by Graham and his wife Rebecca.

They have over 600 waterfowl consisting of Swans, Geese and Ducks at their home on a 23-acre fox secure estate.

Our Social Value manager, Alan Knight spent a day with Graham from the Waterfowl Sanctuary cleaning out enclosures and special treatment areas for sick or injured birds. Graham is called out night and day to go and rescue birds in distress and bring them back for treatment by their vet, as they are now a registered veterinary practice.

Whilst there, Graham contacted by members of the public to remove a Fisherman’s hook from a Swan, so Alan was able to join him

Graham is also a pioneer in treating Avian Bird flu with natural supplements. Read this article.

M&M fully supports this charity and is largely self-funded by Graham and Rebecca. Please help, to donate, go to to the waterfowlsanctuary.co.uk.
