Demolition Methods
Subject to the building type and location we will always ensure health and safety and environmental protection as the priority As Demolition contractors our chosen demolition method will reflect this.
M&M specialise in:
- Mechanical demolition using standard and high-reach demolition specification machines
- Top-down demolition – fully encapsulating a building and lifting small excavators onto the roof. The building is demolished working down floor by floor
- Deconstruction – this includes high rise large panel system blocks of flats
- Dismantling of structures, machinery and equipment
Our portfolio of work includes the demolition of industrial buildings, care homes, sheltered housing, hospitals, cinemas, schools, high rise tower blocks, community halls and residential properties.
Environmental Protection
All our demolition works projects are monitored and controlled for dust and noise pollution using specialist equipment. Ecological surveys are made at pre demolition stage to check for protected wildlife activity.
Recycling and reuse
Investment in crushing and screen equipment allows us to reuse materials on-site. All materials are separated and sent to local recycling centres. We target to recycle up to 96% of the materials from site. A waste management plan is prepared for each project.
