M&M Demolition were contracted by Curo Construction to carry out the Installation of Temporary Works and Demolition at Huguenot Place, London. The building was constructed in the 1940’s was operated as Commercial Units and is currently being redeveloped into residential units.

M&M Demolition used their experience to manage the project professionally in order to complete the East block Demolition, revealing the complex temporary works system they installed to retain elements of the original structure. The RMD Slim shore propping system is fixed using resin-anchored Dywidag rods and plates, with concrete thrust blocks cast in the ground to ensure structural stability. The works were completed on time with no hidden extra costs.

M&M Demolition were contracted by Saxon Gate Development Ltd to carry out the enabling works at Saxon Gate, Back of the Walls, Southampton. The building was constructed in the 1990’s was operated as 18 Commercial Units and is currently being redeveloped into 41 residential units.

Specialists in High Reach Mechanical Demolition

The Highreach Demolition of two 18 storey tower blocks and associated buildings. This challenging eight month project was undertaken in a highly populated residential area with each tower block built on three live substations. The substations remained live during the demolition with substantial temporary works required to protect them and the network of HV cables below the existing site roads. Access to the substations was required 24/7 by the network provider. The project was completed on schedule.
