As a Demolition contractor we come across a lot of urban street art on the buildings we are asked to demolish. Well, it may not be a Banksy but the Mural on the side of the former Public Library at Harold Hill is equally important to the local residents.Recycling in Demolition is very important so it is very apt that M&M Demolition have been able to recycle this stunning mural.
The Mural which was aptly named the ‘Art of Recycling’ was created by Mark Wydler, Karen Wydler and Carrie Reichardt in 2003 and is one of three pieces of public art in Harold Hill.
In order to ‘Recycle the ‘Art of Recycling’ M&M have diligently cut the artwork into sections which has maximised the potential reuse. The individual sections will be palletised and wrapped ready for transportation to the local Council Building, where they will be stored. It is hoped that parts of the Mural can be incorporated into the design of future buildings on the site and within the Borough.
